Following the great success of Phase 1 of our virtual fitness classes, “Blast Fitness”, with Mark McGovern we are rolling out phase 2 today. Mark has been hard at work designing this new phase to keep you challenged and motivated and he has upped the tempo with a class every weekday. If you didn’t manage to link in with the first phase, make sure you join in now and if you have been hard at work it will be great to follow on and see how well you are progressing.

All the info you need to access the programme is contained in the Mayo Campus Movers section of GMITSULife.ie you will need to join the Mayo Campus Movers club to access all the information and you can do that at https://gmitsulife.ie/club/mayo-campus-movers

Zoom Yoga with Katherine Harvey is another online initiative that started last week to great reviews with Yoga HIIT on Monday @ 19.30 and Yoga Flow on Wednesday @ 19.30 you can join these live classes by joining the yoga club https://gmitsulife.ie/club/mayo-yoga where you will be able to access links to the classes

The final part of our virtual package features the online Yoga Classes with Colm Hynes that you can access at your leisure. With classes designed for early morning and early evening,(and a late evening class to follow ), you can follow these at the recommended times to get the associated benefits and help fit in with a healthy daily schedule – you can access these classes through the following links

All participants to complete the Warm-up and Stretch Routine before beginning any classes. Click Here for Home Warm-up and Stretch Routine | HIIT Training Warm up | Quick Cardio Stretch exercises

*** On any day where there no classes, you can redo any of the classes on the schedule or include some other fitness activity. E.g., Going for a walk, a swim or participating in sports.
