The other Board members and I have had our third ever Board meeting and I wanted to update you on the progress we have made in the past three weeks. We have set up CAS as an official Society with GMIT, we have initiated contact with Colleges all over Ireland in an attempt to make CAS a Nationwide Society (our goal is to have a tight knit Network of Contemporary artists), we have scored some amazing interviews with artists from all around the world that we will be posting soon and wed posting interviews with CCAM students so keep an eye out for those. We are hoping to launch a Blog/Newsletter to keep everyone informed about upcoming events etc. and we also want to start selling merchandise to fund for future projects. In the coming week (date to be announced) we will be launching our Fundraising campaign to help fund the 3rd and 4th year exhibitions. Is there any content you would like to see? Are there any artists you would like to see an interview with? If you have any questions or ideas, do not hesitate to contact us on the SU member page. "We are seeing super work so far by all our competitors in the Get GMIT Moving Challenge. Loads of our competitors are tagging us in social media posts with #KickstartGMIT showing off their activity and the points are really piling up. Today may be wet and windy out so if you're lacking some motivation to get outside remember you can complete some of the workouts indoors - 2 minute plank, wall sit, press ups. "Eat 5-7 Pieces of Fruit & Veg They are packed with important vitamins and minerals for good health. Why not try berries with your porridge for breakfast, a salad for lunch and a vegetable stir-fry for dinner? Adding a piece of fruit or veg to each meal brings you half way to your target for today. Some fruit have a quick energy release and make a great snack choice like bananas, apples strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. Some veg like carrots, papers and mushrooms have less calories and are higher in vitamins, minerals and fibre making them great filler foods at dinner time. "
